People's Waffle

It all started with an idea. Isn't that how it always goes?​ Bryan and Alyssa had moved back from Portland to their hometown of Spokane and were missing waffles. For what seemed like an eternity but was actually only a few years, the idea simply percolated. Until one day, in the midst of one of the craziest years yet, these two decided it was time to birth that idea. There's lots of family love poured into these waffles. The recipe has been handed down from Alyssa's Great Grandmother, fondly referred to by all as GeGe. And then came the food truck. We served Spokane in the midst of the pandemic and were SO blessed to do so. The dream just kept growing. In April 2021, People's Waffle opened the doors of its first café in the heart of downtown. Luckily, we have three eager and rambunctious future Wafflers happy to test any waffle and ready to start serving as soon as they're legally allowed ( and Mom says it's ok). We also have an incredible team ready to serve you delicious, gluten-free waffles with the freshest local ingredients we can find.
